SveLingo vs. flashcard apps
Flashcard apps are excellent general tools. SveLingo is a Swedish dictionary that happens to schedule your reviews. That difference decides what you spend your study time on.

The short version
A general flashcard app gives you an empty deck and a good scheduler. You supply the content: the Swedish word, the translation, and — if you know to — the gender, the plural, the past tense and an example. SveLingo starts from the other end. Every card is a dictionary entry that already carries those facts, and the scheduler is switched on the moment you save a word.
Meaning only. Gender, forms and pronunciation are left to memory — or to a second lookup.

Why the source of the card matters for Swedish
In Swedish the word alone is only half of what you need to use it. hund is useless in a sentence until you know it is en hund, that the definite form is hunden and the plural hundar. A hand-typed card that says hund = dog will make you fluent at recognising hund and nothing else. A card whose entry carries the gender and the forms drills the grammar for free: they are attached to the word, not something you must remember to type.
The same goes for context. Word pages show the phrases a word actually occurs in — ett stort hus, bo i ett hus — taken from a corpus of real Swedish sentences, each with its English translation. Those phrases are the difference between knowing a word and being able to say it.
When a generic flashcard app is the better choice
If you are learning three languages, memorising anatomy for an exam, or want total control over card format and scheduling parameters, a general-purpose app wins. Its scheduler is as good as ours, and its flexibility is the feature. SveLingo trades that flexibility for depth in one language: it will not help with your Spanish, but it will not let you forget that hus is an ett-word.
